Program Overview

The M.Tech in Space Technology program will provide you key industry insights, a solid foundation of knowledge combined with the real-world experience required to advance your professional career in the highly competitive space industry. The program is a result of various experts and industry veterans coming together to curate a program that takes a practical approach where students will gain industry experience by working with software that can offer solutions to solve technical and design related issues with spacecraft and launch vehicle designs along with critical mission planning.

The perfect balance between theoretical and practical understanding will not only accelerate the learning process but also provides students with the tools necessary to complete a successful spacecraft mission or the design of a launch vehicle. The program also helps students apply their knowledge in real-life situations through individual and group projects. This is a key contributor for the rapid advancement of the space industry and empowers students to create the new.

The space MTech course will provide you with the background knowledge combined with practical experience for your future career in the space industry. The course brings together experts within the space sector who will instruct and guide you during your time on the course, you will gain experience in using industry standard software to solve technical and design problems associated with spacecraft and launch vehicle design and mission planning for example. You will experience a blend of both theoretical and practical hands-on work investigating and learning about the technology needed to complete a successful spacecraft mission or the design of a launch vehicle. The technical knowledge you gain during your studies will be applied and demonstrated in the project elements of the course – these consist of both a group and individual project module. The course intends to combine the key aspects of Aeronautical engineering and Aerospace engineering. Therefore, the space science course will provide you with the technical and practical knowledge which is a key factor to ensure the continued development of the space industry and more importantly your place and contribution to it.

Candidates with BE/B.Tech. in Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronics and Communication / Electronics / Engineering Physics / Aerospace/ Aeronautical/ Automobile/ Production /Civil/ Chemical/Computer Science/IT/ Naval Architecture/ Metallurgy/ Metallurgy & Material Science/ Instrumentation/ Mechatronics or Integrated M.Sc. degree in Physics / Electronics / Atmospheric science / Space science with minimum 60% aggregate.   • Step 4: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a round of interviews basis their entrance exam scores for ADYPU – NUOVOS PGAT (PG admission test for MBA), MAT -2021/22, CAT/XAT/SNAP 2021, NMAT 2022, CMAT 2022, ATMA 2022, GMAT/GRE – 2021/22
